KB Article Front End Widgets

KB Support includes two widgets which enable you to easily display information for KB Articles on the front end of your website within a page sidebar.

KB Articles Categories / Tags Widget

This widget enables you to display a list of categories or tags for your KB Articles.

The widget displays the title of each category or tag which links through the to relevant archive page.

Once you have added the widget to your sidebar via Appearance -> Widgets you can configure the options as required:

• Taxonomy
  Choose whether to display a list of KB Article categories or tags
• Show Count
  If enabled, the number of articles within each category or tag will be displayed after the category title
• Hide Empty Categories
  If selected, categories or tags that do not contain any KB Articles will not be displayed
• Show Child Categories
  If this option is selected, categories or tags will be displayed in a hierarchical list with each category/tag listed under its respective parent

Popular KB Articles Widget

This widget displays a list of the KB Articles that have been viewed the most.

Once you have added the widget to your sidebar via Appearance -> Widgets you can configure the options as required:

• Number of KB Articles
  Enter the number of KB Articles you would like displayed within the list. Defaults to 5
• Display View Count
  Enable this option to display the total number of times each article has been viewed. The number of views will be displayed within brackets after the title. i.e. (25 veiws)
