The KB Support Email Signatures extension enables each agent to register a custom signature which can be inserted into any of the emails that are sent to a customer regarding a ticket to which the agent is assigned.

Agents can update their signature by editing the Email Signature field which is presented when editing their profile.

With the addition of a new email tag {agent_signature} administrators can choose which emails the signature is applied to as well as control the placement of the signature.

Using the {agent_signature} email tag, it is possible to add the signature to emails such as:

  • Ticket Logged
    This is the email a customer receives when they have successfully logged a ticket. To use the email tag here, you’ll need to be auto assigning tickets
  • Reply Added
    This is the email a customer receives when a new reply is added to their ticket from an agent
  • Ticket Closed
    This is the email a customer receives when an agent closes their ticket

In addition, the email tag may also be used in conjunction with any other email that is generated by KB Support, or one of its extensions.
